HyTEC newsletter (June 2013) now available print email

logo_hytecThe June 2013 newsletter of the HyTEC project is now available.

At its heart, the project is a partnership between two cities – London and Copenhagen. Both cities have taken political decisions to be early adopters of hydrogen technology and will work together in a pan-European partnership to implement this vision. This joint working will bring together stakeholders from the public and private sector in both countries, all of whom want to learn from the deployment in their own country and the equivalent activity in the partner country.

 
SOFCOM newsletter issue #1 now available print email

logo_sofcomThe first newsletter of the SOFCOM - FP7 project is now available.

SOFCOM is an applied research project devoted to demonstrate the technical feasibility, the efficiency and environmental advantages of CCHP plants based on SOFC fed by different typologies of biogenous primary fuels (locally produced), also integrated by a process for the CO2 separation from the anode exhaust gases.

HyTEC project featured in Euronews print email

logo_hytecThe HyTEC project was recently featured in a Euronews programme, with footage of the Air Products Hydrogen fuelling station and taxi operation.

"There are standards that will still need to be put in place for hydrogen vehicles, but part of projects like this helps to address those issues. As we move towards commercialisation of these vehicles in 2015, the required regulations will be addressed and in place," says Diana Raine, project coordinator for the HyTEC (Hydrogen Transport for European Cities) project.

(CR Magazine) has named to its 100 Best Corporate Citizens List for 2012, a top ranking of corporate responsibility leaders based on publicly available information, reaching number 53.
Air Products is one of 100 companies selected from among the large-cap Russell 1000® based on 324 data elements in seven categories: climate change, employee relations, environmental, financial, governance, human rights, and philanthropy. Environmental, social and governance firm IW Financial provides the data, and the Corporate Responsibility Officers Association―a professional society focused on advancing corporate responsibility within companies worldwide―governs the methodology.

 
Air Products is the Exclusive Hydrogen Fueler for World Hydrogen Energy Conference 2012 Ride-n-Drive Events print email

Air Products’ technology is the exclusive fueling supplier for the ride-n-drive events at the being held this week (June 3-7) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Air Products is providing its mobile fueling technology to fuel the hydrogen fuel cell vehicles of several automobile manufacturers participating in the media and public ride-n-drive opportunities held in the Yonge Dundas Square in Toronto.
