The Campus of International Excellence Southern Catalonia (CEICS) has organised its first Forum to be held on 9, 10 and 11 November.
This will be the first annual gathering of the CEICS community, which will bring together the campus’s core members and associates, its partners, national and international allies as well as members of the public related to the project’s strategic areas of interest.

Please join us in welcoming Mariana Belo at MATGAS as a Research Associate.
Mariana Belo obtained her degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Aveiro in 2006. In October 2010 she finished her PhD thesis supervised by Prof. João A. P. Coutinho from the University of Aveiro and by Dr. António José Queimada from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, concerning the application of association models to describe the phase equilibria and interfacial properties in the biodiesel industry. The thesis development involved international collaborative works with the University of Campinas, Tiradentes University and the Federal University of Alagoas in Brazil, as well as with the Technical University of Denmark.
